It’s always a pleasure to visit the magical cellars of Baptiste Cousin. The last few years have been very challenging for Baptiste but finally with the 2017 vintage he has seen a turn in his fortunes. He has welcomed his first child with wife Gaelle, bought a castle (which he is painstakingly hand restoring) and made some of the most breathtaking wines we have seen. His cuvees are more restrained, brighter and fresher than what we have seen over the past few years and are must-have’s going into the summer months.
